Keenan is a Quad Cities based actor, director, and dramaturg.

In May of 2022 Keenan graduated from Augustana College with a BA in Theatre Performance and Psychology.  He has taken a variety of theatre classes, including Voice & Movement, Stagecraft and Stage Combat.  Additionally, he has participated in several Theatre Productions in both performance and technical positions, but mainly focusing on performance. Keenan ended his college career with a modern adaptation of a French 1920s play, The Captive, written by Eduard Bourdet.  His adaptation involves setting the play in modern day, corporate New York City.  This concept looks closely at the negative effect that politics and society have on the LGBTQ community and the extent that members of the community have to adapt to feel safe.

Most recently, Keenan has moved to Milwaukee, WI to pursue a career in theatre. He was last involved in a production of Romeo and Juliet with the Fleeing Artists in Kenosha, WI, where he played the role of Balthazar and was heavily involved as a fighter in the show. Keenan is currently back with the Fleeing Artists, in a production of Boeing, Boeing, where he plays Robert Lambert.

Keenan believes that theatre should always be a safe space for everyone involved in a production.  For many groups of people, theatre serves as a place of comfort and that should never be compromised.  He is passionate about making art, as long as it is done in an appropriate, inclusive way. Soon Keenan will being taking classes to earn his certification in Stage Combat (CCL) and in Intimacy Coordination (IDC)

In addition to theatre, Keenan is heavily involved in the mental health community.  He is currently working as a Care Coordinator for Wisconsin Community Services, where he helps his pool of clients recover from substance abuse/addiction and mental illness.
